The view type decides how rows are shown. A tabular view is a table with one column per result variable. A list shows one linked item per row, run together on a line; an item list shows them one below the other. A plain paragraph view shows each row as a heading and a block of text. A nanopublication set view shows the rows' nanopublications in full. A query form view lets the visitor fill in the query's parameters. Two kinds carry no rows at all: a header view is just a section heading with optional actions, and an SVG view shows a diagram that the query itself draws.

Every view keeps the type gen:ResourceView alongside its specific one; that is the type everything else looks for.
