Such nanopublications define a workshop, tutorial or session that is part of a conference, as a sub-space of the conference's own Space.

The event is typed as a Space and an Event, like any other time-limited Space, and additionally as a conference-ontology Workshop, Tutorial or Session — so that they can be told apart on the conference page and in queries. Use Session for a programme slot that needs a page of its own but is neither of the other two, such as a demo or show-and-tell session to which contributions are added individually.

Give it a short name only: the identifier is minted under the conference's own namespace (https://w3id.org/spaces/myconf/2026/my-workshop), which is what makes it a sub-space. Opened from a conference page, the form takes that namespace from the page; otherwise it offers a picker.

Organizers are not declared here: use the separate Declaring an organizer of a space template, one nanopublication per person, so that each grant can be revoked on its own.

The event's website, if it has one, goes in its own field (schema:url) and is shown prominently on its page and in the conference's workshop table. The alternative ID field is for identifiers of the same event elsewhere, such as a Wikidata item.
