A space can also register a template or a view as a maintained resource. This is not to give it a page but to take charge of its versions: once a definition's stable identity is a resource maintained by the space, the current version is the newest one published by any member of the space, rather than by whoever published the previous one. That is how a community keeps its shared tools current after their original author has moved on.
