Its main community-facing output is the FAIRplus Dataset Maturity (DSM) Model, a reference model for state-of-FAIRness improvement in research datasets: based on the FAIR guiding principles, it defines and classifies the requirements that constitute an incremental path towards improving the FAIRness level of a given dataset, organised into five maturity levels and three dimensions (content and context, representation and format, and hosting environment capabilities). This space maintains machine-actionable representations of the model, hosts discussion and refinement of its indicators, and collects dataset maturity assessments made with it."
