A view has a stable identity separate from each published version, so displays refer to that identity and always get the latest version. A view can additionally be governed by a space: then the current version is the newest one published by any member of that space, and a community can keep its shared views current without depending on one person's key.

Two people publishing a new version of the same view independently produce a fork, which pages resolve by keeping the version they had. It is repaired by one version superseding both.
